Following a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.
The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.
A regional fantasy map created using Campaign Cartographer 3+.
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.
Starting at thirty dollars, the 39-item bundle contains these components:
All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, but you can also select their donation amount in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu immediately below, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
